Red velvet chair, possibly an antique?

Hello, I have this chair that I’d like to appropriately give information on before I sell it. Some one once said that it looked like 1970’s Mexican style(forgive the uneducated explaination). It has no backing, with a red velvet seat and beautiful wooden carved legs. Anyone know of a free site that I could educate myself with, or anyone know right off hand? Any help is great!
